Student Support Services
Lewis University is invested in the success of our graduate students. Therefore, many services are extended to graduate students to support and facilitate their educational and personal achievements. The most frequently used services include but are not limited to: the Library, the Writing Center, the Office of Technology, Blackboard, and the Financial Aid office. The Leckrone Academic Resource Center (LARC) also offers career services and other programs that assist students in graduate studies. Students are encouraged to learn about these services and to take advantage of the many opportunities that Lewis has to offer them. Please use the following categories to find links to assist you.
Advising
Individual student advising is an essential component to a smooth and successful matriculation through a graduate degree program. Just as students’ needs are individualized, so are departmental curricula, progression, and prerequisite requirements. Therefore, if you did not do this already, please contact your specific college and department for their advisement protocol as soon as possible.
Technology & Blackboard
Lewis University uses Blackboard as the technology platform to support learning. Online classes are supported by Blackboard, and many instructors may also use Blackboard to set up course material for their traditional, face-to-face classes as well. The same student credentials that are used for logging into your Email account will be the user name and password for logging into Blackboard as well.
Please contact the Office of Technology (OOT) Service Desk Support if you need help with: Login assistance, connection problems, wireless Internet, lab locations and hours, general Blackboard help, or other web related services. They can be reached by:
